1)     Learn the list of the seven “I AM’s” of the gospel John (including statement summary and chapter:verse references).

2)     The feeding of the 5000 is found in all four gospels.  You need know (by memory)  the gospel and chapter where it can be found in each gospel (for example, Luke 6).

3)     How can Luke’s statement that the feeding of the 5000 occurs at Bethsaida John’s statement that it occurs on the “other side” [eastern side] of the Lake of Galilee be shown to not be a contradiction?

4)     The phrase “eight months wages” (in the NIV) translates an original number of coins.  What number and what coins?

5)     At what general time of the day does the feeding of the 5000 occur?

6)     For the feeding of the 5000, they start with some loaves and fishes.  How many loaves and of what kind?  How many fish and of what general type?

7)     What much was left over?  Describe both the kind of containers and the number of the containers.
